since i always get asked about the early edition...
long island newsday puts out a cheaper early edition on saturday, so i try to get those instead of buying papers on sunday. the price i get charged ranges from $.75-$1.50 depending on what store location i go to, the cashier that rings me up, and the phase of the moon. they are sold on the rack with the regular papers.
of course some newspapers may not have an early edition, or even if they do wags might not sell it.
